  • Explore, Express and Play through Creativity

When you make art with Living by the Brush, you are creating in a supportive, judgment-free zone where the focus is on the process, not the outcome.

We offer the following services

We hold classes and workshops centered around using mindful art to reduce stress, gain personal insight, and promote well-being, among other things. One does not need to be an "artist" to make mindful art or attend our functions. Our mindful art practices are simple and accessible to everyone, regardless of skill level.

We do private group sessions (4-15 people) in which participants do a mindful art activity and can share their experiences within a safe, judgment-free zone. This can be great for team-building, fostering a sense of connection with others and creating a sense of community and support.

One-on-one sessions are a great option for those who want to practice mindful art-making but may not feel comfortable doing so in a group setting. We can work with individuals to assess their needs and taylor sessions to meet those needs.

Erin’s guidance allowed me to face some difficulties I’d been having that week in a supportive and clarifying way that I had needed more than I’d realized. Erin gave wonderful support without stifling my own creativity. No matter your art experience or skill level her sessions are accessible to you. Erin’s a fantastic teacher and I am very much looking forward to participating in a future session of hers!

I had a lovely time making meditative mandalas and would do it again in a heartbeat.

Would highly recommend this amazing experience!

My intuitive collage experience with Erin was far more than I expected to get from myself!  I love art and making collages, but her process made me look deeper inside myself using images that I might see everyday to open a dialogue with myself. It turns out I had a lot I wanted to say to myself, and this made me listen.

I felt safe enough to share or to just meditate on my own thoughts as Erin created a safe space to not only explore my inner thoughts but to have fun and deeply bond with other people while creating art!

Supporting you in expressing your authentic self through art.
